The World Wide Web has been taken over by Firefox. With this new browser comes a host of new features, including add-ons. New functionalities can be added to Firefox anytime by simply writing an add-on or extension and installing it. These extensions can be very useful in improving your browsing experience and efficiency.
One such add-on is the Paste and Go/Search. When you are reading an article on the Web and come across a term that you are not familiar with, all you need to do is copy that term, open a new tab, right click on the search bar and click on ‘Paste and Go’. You are doing copying and clicking on ‘Go’ in just one step. It might not seem like much, but with the amount of browsing that happens these days, every saved click is worth a penny.
Paste and Go is something similar. If you are reading a PDF document and find a link which you want to follow, then just ‘Copy Link Location’, right click on the address bar of Firefox and click on ‘Paste and Go’. It is very useful especially when your other hand is too busy to press CTRL + V.
Talking about Firefox and its features, did you know that you can open a link in a new tab by clicking in the middle button or the scroll wheel of your mouse? You don’t need to copy that link, open a new tab and click ‘Paste and Go’. You just need to press your mouse’s middle button or scroll wheel on the link and that’s it!
